We visited for the first time today and were delighted with the 3 course summer menu.. some popular dishes were unfortunately out of stock, however everything was so well prepared and cooked by chef Dan that any dish would taste amazing.. we ordered the prawn skewer starter - beautifully cooked to just the right point, juicy and bursting with flavour with lemon placed at the top to drip down, and a delicious garlic sauce. Next we had the chicken and prosciutto salad - delicious, juicy succulent chicken breast torn into shreds, with fruity cherry tomatoes and a variety of green salad leaves, crispy prosciutto, parmesan shavings and delicious caesar dressing.. and finally finished with lemon ricotta gelato.. fruity, creamy and light, the taste of summer on a spoon.. I was impressed with the versatile menu choices, and the summer menu was expertly curated with well thought out dishes and flavours that marry well together.. we left feeling fully sated but not bloated, this is good food prepared carefully with high grade ingredients, we also experienced lovely service from waitress Joanna, who was attentive and prompt without being intrusive.. we thoroughly enjoyed and intend to return frequently
Lovely place, we booked and the table was ready for us. They logged in to the app (that was a bit useless for us) but the waiter took our order ( a lot easier) The pasta dish was gluten free, it was tasty and had a bit of a bite. The gluten calzone was ace, it was full to the brim of content not a gap could be seen. The little one had a puzzle sheet and pens to colour to keep her entertained. She enjoyed the pizza and the pudding.
Great location, just off the M4 at McArthur glen, a lovely place to go after shopping, quick service, very friendly staff (didn't catch the waitress' name) the food was piping hot and absolutely stunning. Will definitely be returning.
The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent. We ordered the Crispy Prosciutto Carbonara, Wagyu Royale with Burrata pizza, and the Pan-Fried Salmon & Pesto Risotto. Every dish was high-quality, especially the carbonara, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The desserts were just as impressive. I had the Chocolate Brownie Sundae and the Sicilian Lemon Sundae, and both were absolutely delightful. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend!
Food was amazing, sat quickly with no delay. Server lizzie was quick with taking our order and everything ran smoothly. Another staff member was also great to accommodated my wishes for my mother in laws birthday
We ate at Zizzi's Bridgend this afternoon as a family of 3 and the food is always fantastic as is the service. However today stood out more for service as Jordana (waitress) made our experience all the better. She was kind, knowledgeable, efficient and excellent communicator. We feel she is an asset to the company and we will definitely be visiting again soon.
Jordanna was a brilliant waitress. Honestly we couldn’t ask anymore of her, she was so polite, friendly and such a lovely smile on her face always. We will definitely be back and we hope we have Jordanna as our waitress again xx
First visit, didn't know what to expect but didn't expect it to be as fabulous as this. Everything about our visit was first class. Jordana, our server was exceptional, the food was soooo good the atmosphere was vibrant and the place itself was ultra clean and welcoming. The prices were very good value, the portions were huge and the quality of the food was extremely good (especially surprising for a chain) The Calzoni I ordered looked like it could feed all 4 of us. All in all a truly wonderful night. Can't wait to come back.
